Temps Break Records At Washington Area Airports
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The National Weather Service says the temperature broke records at all three major airports in the
Baltimore-Washington area.
The mercury hit 101 degrees at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, breaking the record of 99 set in 1954. At Washington Dulles International Airport the temperature hit 103, breaking the record of 97 set in 1993, and at Reagan National Airport a record of 104 degrees was set, surpassing the 99 degree mark also set in 1993.
