Teenage Boy Stabbed On Metrobus In Washington
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Metro spokeswoman says a teenage boy has been stabbed on a Metrobus in southeast Washington.
Lisa Farbstein says the stabbing occurred about 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 2200-block of Pomeroy Road, a stop on the W6 bus route. She says after some people "hustled" off the bus, the boy alerted the driver that he had been injured.
Farbstein says the boy was stabbed in the stomach. He was taken to George Washington Hospital, where he was in stable condition.
Metro Transit Police are investigating.
