Teen Stabbed Outside D.C. Metro Station
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Metro spokesman says a 19-year-old man was stabbed outside the Minnesota Ave. station.
Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says the unidentified teen was stabbed after an argument began with another man as the two were waiting for the subway station to open Sunday morning. The suspect fled before police arrived.
The spokesman told The Washington Post that investigators were not immediately able to speak to the victim and do not know if the victim and suspect knew each other.
Stessel said the teen suffered a cut to his lower torso that was not believed to be life threatening. He was taken to a local hospital and reported in stable condition.
