Teen Found Stabbed To Death In Hallway Of Hagerstown Apartment Building
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (WJZ/AP) -- Police have charged a man with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of an 18-year-old man in downtown Hagerstown.
The Herald-Mail reports Shakeem Tradwell Miles, 20, of Hagerstown was charged in the case. He is charged in the death of Jalonte Davonne Thomas-Leach, 18, of Hagerstown.
Police say officers were called to the unit block of West Franklin Street about 4:30 a.m. Sunday. The officers found a large, disorderly crowd in the street and found Thomas-Leach suffering from stab wounds in the hallway of an apartment building.
Police say the victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still looking for a motive.
Miles was also charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and other charges.
