Teen Charged With May Robbery In Cumberland
CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) -- Cumberland Police have charged a 19-year-old man with robbing two people at gunpoint last month.
Alexander Cooper of Cumberland surrendered Monday and has been charged with armed robbery and other offenses.
Police say on May 21, a man and a woman met with Cooper to buy drugs. The three walked into a wooded area, where they were confronted by a man with a gun. Officers say Cooper took cash from one victim's backpack, then fled on foot with the gunman.
