Teen Darryl Freeman Charged As Adult In Killing Of Prince George's County Police Officer's Son Bradley Brown
LA PLATA, Md. (AP/WJZ) — Maryland authorities have charged a 17-year-old suspect with fatally shooting the teenage son of a Washington, D.C., area-police officer during a drug-related encounter.
The Charles County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday that it charged Darryl Edward Freeman of Waldorf as an adult with first-degree murder in the slaying of 17-year-old Bradley Alan Brown.
A sheriff's office spokeswoman said Brown was found shot to death in the driveway of a home Tuesday night. He was the son of a Prince George's County officer and an Eagles scout.
According to court documents, Brown was trying to sell liquid THC used in vaping over Snapchat.

Two other teens were arrested in Brown's murder: 19-year-old Mikayle Qawwee and 16-year-old Keshawn Belasco, both from Waldorf. All three were charged with first-degree murder.
Charles County Sheriff's officials said robbery appears to be the motive in the case.
The investigation into Brown's shooting death has shown no evidence indicate his death is related to his father's work in law enforcement.
