Teen Charged In Fatal Shooting Of Baltimore Man
BALTIMORE (WJZ)— A teenager has been arrested and charged with the fatal shooting of a Baltimore man in front of his wife and children.
Homicide detectives have formally charged Tavon Barnett, 19, with first- and second-degree murder in connection with the homicide of Terrence Seale on Nov. 3.
The investigation revealed that Barnett and Seale were together at an apartment in the 1200-block of Linworth Street.
After a dispute, police say Barnett allegedly shot and killed Seale and fled the location on foot.
Charging documents reveal Seale's wife and two small children were in the apartment at the time of the fatal shooting. They were unharmed.
Community intelligence led detectives to Barnett, and he was positively identified as the gunman in this case. He was apprehended Tuesday by the Baltimore Police Warrant Apprehension Task Force.
In addition to murder, Barnett faces assault and gun charges.
