Jury Deliberating In Trial Of 7-Year-Old Taylor Hayes' Murder
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Jury deliberations began in the murder case of 7-year-old Taylor Hayes on Tuesday.
The prosecution asked the jury to find Keon Gray,30, guilty of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

On July 5, 2018, Taylor was riding in the car with her godmother Darnell Holmes, and Holmes' boyfriend, Malik Edison. They were on Edmondson Avenue in northwest Baltimore.
Around 2:30 p.m. someone fired shots through the trunk of their Acura, hitting Taylor in her back. She died two weeks later after a courageous fight for her life.
"I'll never see my child again," Shanika Robinson, Taylor's mother, said.
Taylor's family - including her mother - were in the courtroom for the trial of the man accused of firing those fatal shots.
Gray is accused of first-degree murder and a number of related charges.
In their closing arguments, the prosecution said they were able to place Gray at the scene of the crime, through cell phone site records and that his DNA was found inside the white Mercedes they believe was used in the commission of the crime.
But the defense said this case is "full of reasonable doubt." They questioned the credibility of the State's two main witnesses - Holmes and Edison - who the defense said continue to lie to police and the jury.
The defense also pointed to the testimony of one of the lead detectives on the case - who they said misrepresented text message conversations he had with an eye witness to the shooting.
The jury will have access to all of the testimony shared in the courtroom and will be able to re-watch any of the body camera or traffic camera footage presented to them during the trial.
Deliberations will continue Wednesday morning.
