WASHINGTON (AP) -- A section of Pennsylvania Avenue will be shut down this weekend for "Taste of DC."
The event is being held Saturday and Sunday, and attendees will be able to sample food from more than 50 city restaurants.
On Saturday, the event will include the third annual Ben's Chili Bowl's World Chili Eating Championship. On Sunday, BGR The Burger Joint will host the first ever burger eating competition at Taste of DC. Three teams of four will face off in trying to eat a nine-pound burger patty piled with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and pickles. The burger weighs more than 15 pounds. The team that finishes first or who has eaten the most after nine minutes wins.
