Suspect Wanted In High's Store Robbery In White Hall
WHITE HALL, Md. (WJZ)— Police need the public's assistance tracking down a man who robbed a High's convenience store in White Hall.
Just after 9 p.m. Tuesday, Maryland State Police troopers responded to a robbery at the High's located at 4525 Norrisville Road at the intersection of Norrisville and Madonna Roads.
Police say the suspect passed a note to the clerk demanding cash. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot.
A search of the surrounding area by troopers and deputies was unsuccessful.
The suspect was seen loitering by several by-standers in the parking lot area just north of the High's prior to the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25-30 years of age, with "scruffy" facial hair and brown eyes. The suspect was also described as wearing a black wool hat, a heavy black jacket with black buttons and breast pockets.
The 22-year-old male clerk was not injured in the robbery.
