Suspect In Robbery Of Convenience Stores Arrested
ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- Authorities have arrested a man suspected of using a long gun to rob several convenience stores in Cecil County.
Maryland State Police arrested Brian Wayne Sutton, 28, of North East Wednesday when he went to the Cecil County District Courthouse in Elkton, where he was due to appear in an unrelated case.
Sutton is charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, first-degree assault and other offenses in five convenience store robberies, as well as an attempted bank robbery.
Sutton is being held without bond.
