Police Identify Suspect In Dundalk Standoff
DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police release the name of the suspect who barricaded himself in a Dundalk business, causing major concerns in the community.
Right now, Clifton Duncan Jr., 32, is being held on $350,000 bond.
Police say it all started Wednesday afternoon when Duncan caused a scene at a K-Mart, and then broke into several Dundalk homes. He eventually barricaded himself in a beer distribution plant.
At first, police were concerned he had a gun and was holding a hostage. Duncan did not have a gun, though officers say he did have a knife.
Police say five people were trapped in the building during the standoff.
After several hours, police subdued Duncan with a Taser and arrested him.
Duncan is charged with first-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property and five counts of false imprisonment.
