Suspect In 2009 Killing In Md. Arrested In Pa.
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say a man wanted in a 2009 slaying has been arrested in Reading, Pa.
Vincent Lloyd Minto of Landover has a warrant charging him with first-degree murder. He was arrested Sunday in Reading and is awaiting an extradition hearing.
Minto is charged in the shooting death of Clarence Rankine, who was shot multiple times at his home in Silver Spring on Aug. 30, 2009. Police say Rankine, 63, was hosting a gathering at his home when he got into an argument with a group of men.
Two other men have been arrested in connection with the killing.
