Suggs, Smith, Perriman And More Will Be Ready For Season Opener
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Coach John Harbaugh recently told the media that he expects all of his players on the physically unable to perform list to be ready for the Sept. 11 season opener against the Buffalo Bills.
That means wide receivers Steve Smith Sr. and Breshad Perriman, linebackers Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil and running back Lorenzo Taliaferro are all going to be ready to play in just a few weeks. The five are currently on the PUP list and have yet to practice in training camp.
Suggs, who tore his Achilles last year, but passed the conditioning test with flying colors, is probably the closest to returning sooner than later.

Perriman, Dumervil and Taliaferro could soon follow Suggs. The biggest concern is Smith, who said his Achilles injury was a double rupture, but he is aiming to have quite the memorable season.
