Liberty Rd. Briefly Closed Due To Dangerous Road Conditions
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A major road is reopened in Baltimore County.
Police briefly closed Liberty Road between St. Lukes Lane and Patterson Avenue due to dangerous road conditions.
After the bridge over the Gwynns Falls had been plowed by State Highways crews, it was revealed that there was major surface structural damage to the roadway. Officers described the situation as being able to look directly through the decking of the bridge down into the water.
Motorists were asked to avoid the location and to stay off the roads as the snow continued to fall in the Baltimore metro area.
