Sports Rehab: Keith Cavanaugh Talks Terps Football And Basketball
Keith Cavanaugh of the Terrapin Times joined Bob and Glenn to talk all things involving Maryland Terps athletics.
Maryland football is winding down but Terps basketball got underway this past week as Mark Turgeon and the basketball Terps have started 2-0 on the young season after wins over Wagner and Central Connecticut State. The Terps will be in action tomorrow night at home as they take on the Fordham Rams. "Its still going to be big man by committee but what a better brand of basketball said Cavanaugh when asked about the Terps through two games. "Sharing the ball, spacing, ball movement. These guys know they're going to get the extra pass."
As for the Terps on the gridiron, Maryland will head to Ann Arbor this week to take on Michigan. Randy Edsall's squad is coming off a 37-15 home loss to the Michigan St Spartans this past Saturday. When asked the Terps chances this week against Michigan, Cavanaugh replied "I expect another ugly, low scoring game. Both offenses are struggling."
