The Maryland Terps football season gets underway on August 30th against James Madison. The Terps are coming off a 7-6 season which culminated in a 31-20 loss to Marshall in the Military Bowl. Maryland will get back its two main offensive weapons in receivers Deon Long and Stefon Diggs. Throwing to those guys will be senior quarterback C.J. Brown who is entering his final year of eligibility.
Defensively, the Terps look to bounce back after a rash of injuries. Jeremiah Johnson returns and leads an experienced group that will return three juniors and two seniors. The front seven has depth as well and return some nice play makers. "We have to make sure we're big enough and stout enough upfront on both sides of the ball if we want to be successful" said Edsall.
