Shane Ryan On The Upcoming US Open And The Unique Course In Washington
Shane Ryan is the author of 'SLAYING THE TIGER A Year Inside The Ropes On The New PGA Tour' and a writer for Golf Digest.
Shane joined Ken and Steve to talk about the state of the PGA tour with Tiger's game struggling and the upcoming US Open.
Shane started off by talking about Chambers Bay the course for the US Open saying "it looks very much like a British course, brown grass water close by and lots of bunkers...for the most part people are loving it, the course is absolutely gorgeous." As for his new book and how it came about Shane said "in 2013 I had an idea for a book of a new generation taking over the tour from Tiger and Phil...I wanted to document these up and coming young guys for a year on tour and tell their stories." Shane then went on to talk about some of the young players coming up and share some stories from his year on tour.
