Several State Parks Close After Reaching Maximum Capacity

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Several Maryland state parks are no longer admitting new people after reaching capacity on Memorial Day.

According to Maryland State Parks, North Point, Point Lookout, Cunningham Falls State Park and the Hammerman Area of Gunpowder Falls are filled to capacity as well as the Patapsco Avalon area.

Several parks also were filled to capacity Sunday and the same issue happened last year on Fourth of July.
