Shooting Under Investigation In Brooklyn Park
BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WJZ) -- A near fatal shooting is under investigation in Anne Arundel County.
Police were called to the intersection of 4th Street and Orchard Avenue in the Brooklyn Park area.
At the scene, they found a 24-year-old man shot in the upper body.
The victim was taken to Shock Trauma with serious and life threatening injuries.
At this time, detectives believe this was a targeted incident and not a random act of violence. Police say two suspects fled the scene in a vehicle described as possibly being a dark-colored Ford Ranger style pick up truck.
The investigation is ongoing.
