Sen. Nancy Jacobs Leaves Leadership Post
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Senate Republican Minority Leader Nancy Jacobs says she has stepped down from her leadership post as she considers running for another office.
Jacobs, who represents parts of Harford and Cecil counties, said Thursday people have approached her about considering running for other offices, and she is keeping her options open.
Jacobs says she believes the minority leader position requires her undivided attention, so she's stepping down as she weighs whether to run for another office.
