Security Guard Charged With Killing Man In Subway Restaurant
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say a security guard has been charged with first-degree murder after he allegedly shot a man he got into an argument with in a sandwich shop.
It happened about 12:45 a.m. Thursday at the Subway on Reisterstown Road. Police say the security guard, 33-year-old Tumaina Bakari, and 35-year-old Frank Harper Jr. got into an argument in the shop and a physical altercation ensued outside.
Officers say Bakari fired his handgun several times at Harper, hitting him at least once. Harper died at Sinai Hospital.
