Second Man Charged In Bowie Slaying
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police have charged a second man in a shooting death in a domestic dispute in Bowie.
Demarco James, 31, of Washington was charged Monday with first-degree murder in the death of Michael Reese, 27. James is being held on an unrelated charge in Washington and is awaiting extradition to Maryland.
Police say on Aug. 11, James entered the home of an ex-girlfriend, confronted Reese and shot him.
Shortly after the slaying, police arrested Vincent Martin, 32, of Washington and charged him with first- and second-degree murder. Officers say Martin helped James after he went into the ex-girlfriend's home.
