Sanders Vows To Continue Fight For 'Every Remaining Vote'
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — U.S. presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders told hundreds of supporters in North Dakota's capital city that he would "continue to fight for every remaining vote and every remaining delegate."
Sanders spoke Friday night to a crowd of mostly young people, wrapping up a campaign swing through North Dakota that also included stops in Fargo and Grand Forks.
Sanders touched on his familiar themes, vowing to pass a $15 minimum wage and create jobs by rebuilding the nation's crumbling infrastructure. He also drew applause when he spoke out against hydraulic fracturing, a process that has made North Dakota the No. 2 oil producer behind Texas. But fracking has been blamed for endangering water quality in some states.
Sanders is competing with Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.
