Salisbury Man Caught With 7.5 Pounds Of Marijuana
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say a Salisbury man has been charged with dealing drugs on the Eastern Shore about 7 1/2 pounds of marijuana and other drugs were seized.
Authorities say Kevin Crockett Dykes, 29, was stopped Tuesday for a traffic violation in Salisbury and police there brought a drug-sniffing dog to check the vehicle.
Troopers say the dog alerted to drugs, and four grams of marijuana were found in Dykes' pocket. Authorities obtained a search warrant for Dykes' home and other vehicles. Troopers say marijuana, cocaine, hallucinogenic mushrooms and cash were found.
Dykes is charged with several counts of drug possession with the intent to distribute.
