Ryan Mink On Suggs' Leadership For The Ravens
Ryan Mink, staff writer for the Baltimore Ravens, joined Ed and Rob to talk about what he has seen from the Ravens so far in training camp.
Ryan started off by talking about veteran Terrell Suggs being a leader on the defense saying, "he does a lot of things behind the scenes that people don't really know about, is he like a Ray Lewis type? I don't know if he's that type of leader...but he is a great and very smart football player and he shares that with the younger guys."
Ryan also talked about rookie linebacker Kamalei Correa and if the Ravens are trying to slide him from outside linebacker to inside linebacker saying, "they want to teach him how to play all four linebacker spots and this year the opening happens to be at inside linebacker with Darryl Smith's departure...I expect Zack Orr to be the starter next to CJ Mosley, but in a few years when some of the older guys have moved on Correa could be the guy."
Ryan also talked about the teams hopes for the battle to become the main return man between Keenan Reynolds and Michael Campanaro with some of the young running backs getting involved also.
