77-Year-Old Man Dies After Jeep Crashes Into Utility Pole In Rosedale
ROSEDALE, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Fire crews extricated one person with life-threatening injuries after a vehicle runs into a utility pole early Tuesday morning.
That person, identified as Norris Carl Assam, 77, was taken to the MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center where he later died.
Assam was driving a Jeep Cherokee on Kenwood Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he failed to stop at a red traffic signal and continued through the intersection until the car struck a light support pole an came to a stop.
The crash temporarily closed one eastbound left turn lane and all lanes westbound Kenwood Ave at Lillian Holt Drive.
