Rockville Man Sentenced For Role In Robbery In D.C.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Rockville man has been sentenced to nearly 13 years in prison for his role in a home invasion that left two other suspects dead after a shootout with police.
Police say Stefan Fields, 22, and two others were involved in a Feb. 13 robbery of a house full of Catholic University students. Fields was originally facing charges of felony assault on a police officer, but pleaded guilty in May to a first-degree burglary charge and an assault charge.
Akeem Cayo, 21, and Davon Sealy, 19, were killed after trying to shoot their way out of the home in Northeast Washington near the university.
