Rite Aid Employee Shot In Leg During Robbery; Suspect Sought
Baltimore (WJZ) -- An early morning robbery at a Baltimore Rite Aid ended with an employee shot and a suspect on the loose.

Investigators were called to the West Chase Street Rite Aid at around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning in response to the shooting.
They say the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and went behind the cash register.
After taking an undisclosed amount of money, he then shot the 33-year-old employee in the lower body.
The employee was taken to an area hospital and will recover.
Below are surveillance pictures of the man police are looking for.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot 7 male wearing all black, a surgical mask and a dark hat.
Police say there was no altercation nor words exchanged before the suspect opened fire.
"This was an intentional act," said Baltimore City Police spokesman T.J. Smith. "The robbery had been completed and he chose to shoot the victim."
"That goes to show he doesn't care about no life. And anybody who doesn't care about a life shouldn't be on the streets," said one customer.
The Rite Aid is on a busy roadway next to the Light Rail track, with residential buildings and businesses that are open late or 24 hours.
Police say it's not clear if there were any other witnesses inside the store.
The store is open to the public. It remained open even as detectives were inside conducting their investigation.
A return to normalcy even as the search for the shooter continues.
