Retailers Extend Hours As Shoppers Search For Last-Minute Holiday Deals
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Well, time's pretty much up if you haven't finished your holiday shopping. WJZ caught up with plenty of people who waited until the last minute.

Christmas comes the same time every year, but for some reason, people---me included---tend to wait until the last minute.
Filling up the trunk for the Christmas holiday rush.
"I just wait til the last minute, get it done, bang it out, all in one shot," said Caitlin Postel.
Thousands of people across the country are hitting Toys-R-Us stores that, for the fourth year, have stayed open around the clock in the days before Christmas.
Kohl's followed suit for the first time this year, which was exactly what many shoppers needed.
"I'm getting all I can in last minute, I guess," said one shopper.
"I like it. It's exciting for me," said shopper Demetria Lucas.
"I'm a procrastinator. I'm always at the end," said another.
But if you wait until the very last minute and miss even those extended hours, there is one place you can probably find what you're looking for.
"Yes, and it was just as busy [last year] but this might be the worst one we've had so far," said Walgreens manager Terrell Royster.
The Walgreens on Northern Parkway had a nonstop line of last minute shoppers.
"Thought I was finished but I went through my packages last night and there's a few more things I wanted to get," said shopper Eugenia Harden.
"Some of us still had to go to work so we had to get out here and get it done," said shopper Evelyn Flood.
So whether it's the hustle and bustle of a busy store or last minute sales, shoppers say it's all in the spirit of giving.
"Last minute shoppers are out but they're doing it for their families. But it doesn't matter; it's the thought, just as long as they get it," said Freddie Fila the barber.
If you still need a gift, most Walgreens are open until midnight and there are some Walgreens and CVS stores that will be open Wednesday.
