Request To Exclude DNA In Foxwell Trial Denied
ELKTON, Md. (AP) -- A Cecil County Circuit judge has denied requests to exclude DNA and cell phone evidence in the trial of a man accused of kidnapping and killing an 11-year-old girl.
The ruling was made at a motions hearing for Thomas J. Leggs Jr., 31, on Wednesday.
Leggs is charged with murder and other offenses in the kidnapping and slaying of Sarah Foxwell. Her burned remains were found Christmas Day 2009 in Wicomico County. His trial has been moved to Cecil County.
