Report: New Series Of Searches For Relisha Rudd To Begin

WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- There are reports a new series of searches for Relisha Rudd are set to begin.

Rudd was last seen alive in March of 2014 with Kahlil Tatum, a janitor at the homeless shelter where she lived.

Tatum allegedly killed his wife, then himself about a month after Rudd's disappearance.

A source close to the investigation told WUSA9 the Metropolitan Police Department will begin the searches as early as Thursday morning.

Court records show Tatum may have been posing as a doctor to excuse Relisha from school. She missed 30 days of classes and hadn't seen her mother in three weeks when she went missing.
