Rep. Cummings Talks Immigration Reform In D.C.
WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- Congressman Elijah Cummings tackles immigration reform in front of members of the state's largest Latino organization.
Cummings spoke alongside members of CASA in Action on Sunday in a town hall style forum.
The event was also hosted by the Archdiocese of Baltimore, which serves diverse residents.
In D.C., the Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee said any attempt at comprehensive immigration legislation cannot be offered to those in the United States illegally.
That approach could block the GOP's hopes of winning the White House.
