Rep. Cummings, Justice Kagan To Speak At UB's New Law School Reception
BALTIMORE (AP) -- U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan is scheduled to speak at a reception for the opening of a new building at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
The reception for the University of Baltimore's John and Frances Angelos Law Center is set for Tuesday evening in Baltimore.
Maryland Court of Appeals Chief Judge Robert Bell also is scheduled to speak. Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings is scheduled to give remarks as well.
The 12-story law center includes 15 classrooms, 29 large- and small-group study spaces, a 32,000-square-foot library and a 300-seat moot courtroom and event space.
The building also houses all the school's clinical services and law-related centers.
