Redskins Place 3 On PUP, Cut 2 On 1st Day Of Camp
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- The Washington Redskins have placed defensive end Adam Carriker, cornerback Josh Wilson and offensive lineman Maurice Hurt on the active physically unable to perform list.
The Redskins made the moves Thursday before their first training camp practice.
Carriker is scheduled to have a third surgery on a right leg injury suffered last season. Wilson is recovering from left shoulder surgery, and Hurt is recovering from a knee operation.
All three can be activated at any time during camp. If they aren't ready for the regular season, they can be moved to the reserve PUP list and would have to sit out an additional six weeks.
The Redskins also released safeties Jordan Bernstine and Devin Holland.
