Ray Rice Likely To Move Out Of Md., Back Home To New Rochelle, N.Y.
BALTIMORE (WJZ/WFAN)— Former Ravens running back Ray Rice tells a CBS New York radio host that he's likely going to move out of Maryland after he was fired from the team and the league in the aftermath of newly released video of him punching his then fiancée in an elevator.

WFAN co-host Craig Carton said he spoke with Rice — both are alums of New Rochelle High School in Westchester County — "at length" on Tuesday.
As controversy swirls around him, Ray Rice may soon say goodbye to Maryland for good. That's what he told Carton.
"He's miserable. He's embarrassed. He recognizes this has now stained who he is as a man. He's very much in love with his wife. They are very much together. I asked him about playing football and he goes, `It's not on my mind right now.' He's most likely moving out of Maryland, selling his house," Carton said.
After seeing the TMZ video, some powerful New Jersey lawmakers want an investigation into the prosecutor for allowing Rice into a pretrial program with no jail time. The prosecutor's office previously told WJZ they could have rejected the deal but chose not to.
"It's consistent with other plea offers in similar cases and he has no prior record," said first assistant prosecutor Diane Ruberton. "I'm confident with the evidence we have that we could secure a conviction at trial with or without her testimony."
In an exclusive interview with CBS News, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league tried to get the video but couldn't.
"Well, we certainly didn't know what was on this tape but we have been open and honest...two weeks ago when I acknowledged we didn't get this right," Goodell said.
In Rice's hometown of New Rochelle in New York, his jerseys have been taken down at the high school he led to a state championship.
"We watched him grow up here. He worked hard to get where he's at. He made a mistake," said Keyonne Davis.
The NFL says they've been in touch with Rice and his family to make sure they have counseling resources to get through this difficult time.
