Ravens Yanda, Weddle Make Top 100 NFL Players List
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore Ravens have two players on Pete Prisco's 'Top 100 NFL Players of 2016' list.
Yanda, who was voted the Ravens' Most Valuable Player for the 2015 season, made the list for 2016 at number 15 out of 100.
With five Pro Bowl selections since 2011, Yanda is widely considered one of the best offensive linemen in the league. "You put on the tape of Yanda and see a guy who can get it done in both the run game and the passing game. This former college tackle has made himself the league's best guard," said Prisco.
Althought we haven't had a chance to see him play as a Raven just yet, Weddle is already said to be making a leadership impact on the defense. Prisco says, "He's not a kid anymore, but at 31 he can still get the job done. The Chargers didn't bring him back, but he will be a big part of what the Ravens do on defense. Weddle has range, and he's a willing tackler."
