Ravens, Under Armour To Collaborate On Community Initiatives
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The Ravens and Baltimore-based sports clothing, shoes and accessories retailer Under Armour have entered into a 10-year agreement to collaborate on several community programs.
The Ravens practice facility in Owings Mills will also be renamed the Under Armour Performance Center, according to the agreement.
The team and Under Armour will work together on empowerment programs for local youth through football initiatives like statewide competitions, clinics and annual grants. One such clinic will be held on June 16 at McDaniel College for more than 400 Carroll County youth.
The contract also includes the creation of an annual high school flag-football tournament. About 72 schools and more than 1,400 students have already registered for this year's contest.
