Ravens, Steelers Fans Prepare For Sunday's Showdown
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--The showdown is just two days away. The Ravens will take on the Steelers at home this weekend, and fans are getting ready.
Gigi Barnett has more details about purple Friday preparations.
Fresh off the presses. This is purple passion. A sure sign that Baltimore is brewing for a Sunday night battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fans are "very pumped up," said Kirmon Nordt, Ravens fan. "I'll see every minute of this game."
"This weekend I'm a Ravens fan," said Amy Janak with a laugh.
That's because Janak's husband is a die-hard Steeler's fan. This weekend she's sporting purple, rooting for any team against the Steelers.
"I don't think I'll ever wear purple, but I'll root for them," said Steve Smith, Ravens fan.
Although purple isn't Smith's color, he's pulling for the Ravens. His daughter is a big Steelers fan.
"We actually went to the Pittsburgh game out in Pittsburgh," Smith said. "She's really heavy into it."
There's passion at the Steeler's camp, too.
At the Maryland Screen Printers in Dundalk, workers are creating gear for the play-offs.
"We just came up with a new design yesterday, and we're getting that in all of the stores," said Craig Pfeifer, Maryland Screen Printers owner. "And this whole town is getting pumped up for the game Sunday night."
