Ravens Ring From Super Bowl XXXV Sells At Auction

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After going up for auction on GoldinAuctions.com, a Ravens Super Bowl ring from 2001 belonging to former offensive tackle Sammy Williams has sold for $23,275.

It is described on the site as a "14K-gold, size 14-1/2 ring [that] sports 3 carats of white and yellow diamonds plus a 1-1/2-point ruby."

"There's an amazing Raven top design with a diamond border on all four sides and yet another diamond on the Lombardi Trophy shank design," the description goes on to say.

According to his statistics page on NFL.com, Williams played in one game in the season leading up to the team's 2000 Super Bowl win.

In his 6-season career, Williams also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, the San Diego Chargers and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
