Ravens Kicker: 'My Fantasy Team Is Benefiting' From My Performance
DETROIT (CBS Baltimore/AP) -- Baltimore Ravens fans aren't the only ones happy over Justin Tucker's Monday Night Football performance -- fantasy football owners are soaking it up as well.
Tucker nailed six field goals in the Ravens 18-16 win over the Detroit Lions, including a game-winning 61-yard field goal with 38 seconds left. He also connected from 29, 24, 32, 49 and 53 yards.
During a postgame interview, Tucker described how his performance helped his own fantasy football team.
"My fantasy team is benefiting from it as well, so I'm happy about that," Tucker told ESPN. "And fantasy owners around the world, I hope you guys appreciate the points as well."
In Yahoo! Fantasy, Tucker recorded 23 points, better than both Peyton Manning (17.56) and Tom Brady (20.56).
Tucker has made 33 straight field goals, which is the NFL's longest streak since Matt Stover made 36 in a row for the Ravens from 2005-06, according to STATS.
The Ravens, now 8-6, won their fourth straight game and maintained control of an AFC wild card as they seek their sixth consecutive postseason berth and a chance to defend their Super Bowl title.
