Ravens Fans Win Big On Themed Lottery Scratch-Off Tickets
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- For the eighth year, the Maryland Lottery and the Baltimore Ravens are teaming up, handing out even bigger prizes than before.
Three lucky fans are now season ticket holders. And, new this year, they were given a $500 shopping spree inside the team store at M&T Bank Stadium.
A dream come truck for Ravens' fanatics, and Ken Tackett is one of the lucky winners who hit it big with a Maryland Lottery Ravens scratch-off ticket.
"Never had season tickets, this is the greatest moment of my life," Tackett told WJZ's Tracey Leong.
Winners will be able to attend every regular home season game with a guest. Two of the winners got club-level seats, and one got lower-level seats.
As for the $500 team store credit, the biggest Ravens fans can never get enough purple, especially when you're going to every home game!
And it gets better.
Winners "also get to come on the field during one of the games for player introduction, not only come to every home game, but also get to experience it on the field," according to Gail Pelovitz, a lottery spokesperson.
Shannon Tackett says she and her husband are already gearing up for opening day on Sept. 11, when the Ravens will host the Buffalo Bills, and getting psyched up for what's sure to be an incredible season.
There are still plenty of opportunities to win. Lottery tickets are available now and throughout the season. Ravens seats for the next 20 years and $10,000 cash are among the many prizes still available.
