BALTIMORE (WJZ)— It's all about the Ravens. The purple birds prepare to face off against Tom Brady and the Patriots. The winner goes to the Super Bowl.
Jessica Kartalija talks with excited fans getting ready for the showdown.
As the wins keep coming, the shirts keep selling at Maryland Screen Printers.
"These guys just don't give up," said Craig Pfeifer, Maryland Screen Printers owner.
Pfeifer says they'll print 5,000 shirts Monday, celebrating Ray Lewis.
"He had a lot of inspirational quotes, and that's why we put a couple of them on there. The quotes he's used to inspire the team, inspire the town and get these guys hyped up to play each week," Pfeifer said.
Some fans are calling Saturday's game the best they have ever seen.
Fans danced in the streets in Federal Hill, causing a major traffic jam after a win over Peyton Manning and the Broncos.
"I'm a Ravens fan every day," one fan said.
At Poor Boys in Abingdon, fans want everything purple and everything Ray.
"There is no other team as far as I am concerned," one fan said.
"It's all about Ray. Ray retiring, everyone is going to miss him, what a great job he has done for this team," a fan said.
The hottest seller? People have been lining up to get a T-shirt with the number 52 shaped in the form of a heart, the "heart of Baltimore."
"This has been the talk of the town, the heart of Baltimore, Ray Lewis," a fan said.
It's a little quieter in the city as fans have their sights set on next week's game.
"They have all the tools to do it," a fan said. "They just have to utilize them, and honestly I don't think Ray Lewis is going to let us lose."
The excitement is sure to get bigger as the game gets closer.
