Shaking Things Up: Ravens Cut Huff And Spears
The Baltimore Ravens have released veteran S Michael Huff and DE Marcus Spears.
John Harbaugh said after the Ravens' loss to the Steelers: "We're going to do whatever it takes. We'll trade guys. We'll cut guys. We'll sign guys. We'll coach guys. We'll change schemes. It doesn't matter! We're going to find a way to get better. And that's the business we're in."
These cuts are a clear sign that the Ravens want to win. Step up or get cut. They have since activated safeties Omar Brown and Brynden Trawick to the active roster. This move could be to shake up the Special Teams, where Huff has struggled.
