Randy Edsall Joins Scott and Jeremy
Coach Edsall talks about the quarterback position after last years horrible sequence of events that lead to all four quarterbacks sitting out for the rest of the season with injuries. Coach says those quarterbacks have more experience than anyone else because they all were put in games. Edsall tells the guys about his starting quarterback CJ Brown, who was lost last season before the first game was even played. Edsall tells how that injury helped Brown grow as a player, both on and off the field.
The coach talks about how he will feel when he returns to UCONN for the first time since leaving for Maryland. The Terps play their 3rd game of the season in Connecticut. While looking at the schedule, the guys ask Coach Edsall about the big game versus West Virginia at M&T Bank Stadium. Listen to see what he says about WVU. Edsall talks about what it means to be a college football coach and how thankful he is to help out so many players, but also how hard it is to recruit players that will not cause any trouble.
Looking forward, Edsall says the Big Ten will be a great thing for the university but that he still wants to play this season first and that the attention is on the ACC championship. Lastly Coach Edsall talks about his key players, including preseason ALL-ACC specialist, Stefon Diggs.
