Randy Cross Of CBS Sports Network On Navy Vs SMU
Randy Cross is a college football analyst for the CBS Sports Network.
Randy joined Ken and Steve to talk about the Terps, and the Navy vs SMU game which he will be calling this weekend.
Steve asked Randy about Navy's win this past weekend over #15 Memphis. Randy acknowledged that Navy has been very impressive in their wins, "Navy has to play perfect against the big teams on their schedule. They can't turn the ball over on offense or have blown coverage's on defense. They have been almost flawless especially against Memphis where they kept their high powered offense off the field."
Ken asked Randy if there are any teams on outside of the college football playoff looking in that could make a late surge into the playoff. Randy singled out Oklahoma as being a team that could make a strong push in the final few weeks of the season, "it could be Oklahoma. Anyone coming out of the Big 12 will have to pull what an Ohio State did last year. They could do it in the final 3 games of the season."
Randy went on to discuss the latest college football playoff rankings, and his thoughts on deflate-gate and the New Patriots undefeated start to the season.
