RANDALLSTOWN, Md. (WJZ)—A tragic end to the college dreams of a Baltimore County teen.
Virginia police says David Esan, 17, drowned Wednesday night during a pool party at Hampton University, where he attended school.
School officials say paramedics attempted to revive the Randallstown teen, but he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
The incident is still under investigation, but the school says lifeguards were on duty at the party.
Esan graduated from Western Vo Tech and was a pharmacy major at Hampton.
Campus police are investigating how it happened, but it's not considered suspicious.
