Ramp To Southbound I-95 Closed In Laurel
LAUREL, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a ramp to southbound Interstate 95 in Laurel has been closed while they investigate a body found in a burning car.
Maryland State Police say they received a report of a car fire on the ramp from westbound Route 198 to the interstate about 3:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police and firefighters from Prince George's responded to the scene, and firefighters found a body inside the vehicle after extinguishing the fire.
Officials did not have immediate information on the victim or how the fire started.
Police are directing traffic in the area, and drivers should expect delays.
