Quick Hits: O's Battle The Sox, Drew Brees, Lakers
The Orioles start the final three games of their 9-game, 10-day road trip Tuesday night at Fenway against the Red Sox. Jason Hammel will make another attempt at win number seven. The Birds have lost 10 of their last 13 and the Red Sox are now just two games behind the Orioles in the standings. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m.
The Saints have begun their mandatory three-day, mini-camp this week. Not in attendance is quarterback Drew Brees, who was tagged as the team's franchise player, wants a new deal and has not signed his tender either. The Ravens have voluntary mini-camp this week. Their franchise player, Ray Rice, was not expected to be in attendance either.
The Lakers have picked up Andrew Bynum's option. The 24-year old All-Star center will make $16.1 million next season. The team had until June 30 to pick up his option or he would have become a free agent.
On the court Tuesday night, it's game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals in Miami. The Heat look to take a pivotal game 5 at home against the Celtics as they may get the return of Chris Bosh to the line-up, who has missed the last nine post-season games.
