Quick Hits: Orioles, Kellen Winslow, Mickey Loomis, And The Stanley Cup Playoffs

The Orioles are in first place this late in the season for the first time since they went wire to wire in 1997. They welcome the Red Sox into Charm City. The Birds have won seven of their last eight against the boys from Bean Town. Tommy Hunter will take the mound for the O's Monday. Clay Bucholz starts for Boston. Gametime is 7:05.

In NFL news, tight end Kellen Winslow says he's done in Tampa. Winslow said Monday morning in a radio interview on Sirius-XM that he was informed by the team that his services would not be needed anymore and that he will be traded. The Bucs are also working out former Colts tight end Dallas Clark.

While Saints general manager Mickey Loomis can't be talking football for eight weeks of the NFL season, New Orleans Hornets owner Tom Benson, who also owns the Saints, says he will get Loomis to help with his basketball franchise. The Hornets finished in dead last in the Western Conference this past season.

One NHL playoff game Monday night. The Rangers and Devils play game four in New Jersey with the Broadway Blueshirts leading the series 2-games to-1.
